About Us
Wise Life Ministries is a culturally relevant, Biblically sound, and outwardly focused, we are a Ministry made up of people from all walks of life and very different pasts. Some of us have grown up in churches and others are just beginning our journey with God. But as different as we are, what unites us is that we are all on an amazing life journey together, discovering more about God and his incredible plans for us.

Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of (Christ to) the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and (recognize and honor and) glorify your Father who is in heaven.

2 Corinthians 9:8-9 Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do. Just as the Scriptures say about the one who trusts in him: Because he has sown extravagantly and given to the poor, his kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten.
Confident team members understand the importance of their individual parts in the body of Christ. They believe they are equipped with the gifts, skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to do what they have been called to do.
1 Peter 4:10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.
People-oriented team members focus on people first and not only the task. They serve with excellence and walk in the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law
Volunteers who are growing are committed to ongoing spiritual development. They invest in their growth by church attendance, Bible study, daily time with God, etc.
2 Peter 3:17-18 Be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men (who distort doctrine) and fall from your own steadfastness (of mind, knowledge, truth, and faith), but grow (spiritually mature) in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…
Relational volunteers value “community.” They develop and maintain valuable relationships through service. They are willing to participate in team-building activities inside and outside of the church, and they embrace their ministry team as their Church on the Rock family.
Romans 15:5-6 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Exemplary volunteers understand their influence inside and outside of the church. They serve as models/examples to congregants by practicing the highest standard of excellence in every area of volunteer service. They adhere to the dress code for ministries and are properly groomed and modestly dressed when ministering to others.
1 Corinthians 10:31-33 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God – even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
